As of 2027, there is no official announcement of a new Bhaktapur entry fee. The most recently published official schedule from the Nepal Tourism Board lists the following fees, while some travel sources report later adjustments for foreign visitors.

- Children under 10 years old are generally admitted free.
- Group tours of 11–20 people may receive one complimentary entry for the tour leader.
- The ticket grants access to the Bhaktapur heritage area, including major monuments such as Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Nyatapola Temple, Pottery Square, Dattatreya Square, and other historic sites.
- Validity: Tickets are typically good for One day, but if you plan to stay longer, you can produce your passport at the Bhaktapur Municipality ticket counter to receive a free time extension.

When purchasing an admission ticket, foreigners who must visit Bhaktapur regularly should ask for an extension of its validity. The maximum duration of the extension is seven days. If a visitor wants to access more than once during this seven-day period, they must request for a special Visiting Pass at the Tourist Information Center in Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Applicants must complete an application, submit Two Passport-Sized Pictures, a copy of their Vallid Passport, a copy of their Visa, and the original Bhaktapur Entrance Ticket in order to receive the permit.
