Numerous bus parks and stations in Bhaktapur serve regional, local, intercity, and tourist routes.
- One of Bhaktapur’s primary transportation hubs is Kamal-Vinayak Bus Park. Buses leave for Lagankhel, Nagarkot, and Kathmandu (Ratnapark, Airport, Gongabu). Additionally, it serves as the main hub for buses heading to Nagarkot.
- Bhaktapur Mini Bus Park: Provides regular local bus service that links Bhaktapur with Bagbazar and other areas of the Kathmandu Valley.
- Tourist Bus Park: Mostly used by travel organizations and tourist coaches that transport tourists to Bhaktapur. The heritage area is not far from it.

- Nagarkot Bus Park is the starting point for local buses that go from Telkot to Nagarkot.
- Ratnapark, the TIA airport, Gongabu, Lagankhel, Kalanki, and neighboring towns are all served by the Chyamhasingh Bus Station.
- Local busses to Changu Narayan Temple depart from Changu Narayan Bus Station (Dekocha).
- A significant roadside stop for buses traveling to Banepa, Dhulikhel, Pokhara, Kalanki, and Kathmandu is Suryabinayak Bus Stop.
